So This Is Christmas

From the Carols at Church in the morning … to the wonderful rendition of Handel's Messiah in the afternoon … to the local Carols by Candlelight in the evening (where we were reminded, at a secular event no less, that the true reason we celebrate Christmas is because of the Messiah's birth).

So this is Christmas …

And taking time to remember the prophecies … the fulfilment of those prophecies … the events that came to pass … and how with the birth of one child, History was changed forever.

He was despised and rejected by men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief; and as one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Isaiah 52:3, ESW
