God has made you...Jules, I think you are beautiful. God has made you so! And in His Word it says that long hair is a glory to a woman. It's something I am needing to learn about my own hair, that He made it, and I should honor Him by growing it long, even if "long" is only past my shoulders. I love the "timeless" description; I think it fits you well. And I aspire to that, also. Long hair is absolutely timeless, and just because you are surrounded by others who have shorter hair doesn't mean you have to match them. How boring this world would be if we all were the same! I also don't like the silvers creeping into my hair, so every few months, I have it dyed with a demipermanent (deposit-only) color that wears away over the months because I don't want the line of demarcation when I decide to let the grays show for good. This is getting long, but I just wanted to encourage you. I figure that this life is so short, and we have eternity to look forward to, so let's not dwell too much on ourselves (though it happens from time to time to all of us! :) ). Let's look forward eagerly to His appearing! ~Debbie (Inch by Inch)Debora Hoffmannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09947148491137183181noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2299914041974517331.post-993830431016547152015-03-07T09:23:50.207+13:002015-03-07T09:23:50.207+13:00Thank you so much Elizabeth. Of course, it could also mean that I refuse to move with the times, lol, but I'll not go there.

Did you mean the Queenstown trail? (I know how auto-correct can change words to give meanings we didn't intend.) Queenstown is in the South Island of New Zealand whereas Queensland is in Australia (and, no, we're not one and the same which my son had to explain on a recent trip to America).

My husband was working in Wellington last week so perhaps our DHs crossed paths and didn't even realise!Juleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08923641039706647805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2299914041974517331.post-62682708896021900322015-02-24T00:28:51.680+13:002015-02-24T00:28:51.680+13:00Hi Jules,
I know I've never seen you up close...Hi Jules,

I know I've never seen you up close and personal . . . but I think you're beautiful! and I know HE does -- because He created you in His image and because you walk in the beauty of holiness! Your family thinks you're beautiful too -- and as my Mom always told me, Beauty is as Beauty does! :)

No need to compare with others or copy others! Just be Yourself! That's what makes YOU special! (And I guess that's what I've learned since turning 50!!)

In other news, my husband is in your "backyard!" He is attending the ICMA board meeting in Wellington! And then he will be hiking the Queensland trail? I think that is what it's called! :) Too bad I'm not there -- I could at least holler "Hello" to you! :)

Blessings to you as you start a new decade!
Elizabethbusymomof10https://www.blogger.com/profile/16801397516931688515noreply@blogger.com
