Amy tagged me with this random MeMe. I don't mind being tagged but for some reason I'm really reluctant to tag others. It makes me feel bad when I tag someone (perhaps that can be my first random thought?) What if they don't want to be tagged? What if they think it's rude or an imposition? What if ...?
So I'm going to change it a little. If you're reading this and want to be tagged, please just leave a link in the comments section. I hope that doesn't spoil the fun too much.

8 Random Things About Myself:
1. I hate grocery shopping. In fact I hate any kind of shopping but grocery shopping the most. I'd rather clean grotty bathrooms than go shopping. I think it's a waste of time. It's just that if I don't do it we don't eat.
2. I wanted to be a journalist when I was at school but switched to nursing because I never thought I'd have the courage to actually go up to someone and interview them. So much for our school's Career Advisor!
3. As a child I used to dream about being an actor. I love drama and am disappointed that I haven't done any in a long time but I'm too shy to join the local repertory group.
4. I talk in my sleep much to my kids' delight. Once they came home from Youth Group to find me asleep and when they tried to say good-night to me I apparently threatened to call the police if they didn't get out of my room. Of course, I remember nothing.
5. I used to want to be someone 'famous' when I grew up: missing royalty, famous parents, anything but plain boring ol' me.
6. I don't like seafood. I'll eat fish because it's good for me but lobster, crayfish, oysters, crab etc, I've never tried and never want to.
7. I've never read Lord of the Rings. Shocking I know for some one who lives in the land where LOTR was filmed. What is even worse, I've only seen the first movie, fell asleep half-way through the second movie, and have no interest in watching the third movie. I think part of the reason I've never been interested in LOTR was back in Primary School a Librarian Teacher with a very boring voice read The Hobbit to the class. It was the worst hour of every week!
8. I've only lived in four towns in my whole life. Some times I lived in different houses in the same town, but still only four towns. I obviously haven't moved around a lot. The longest I've lived in any one town has been 28 years although that was broken by an 18 month stint in another town (I lived in the same town from 2-18 years of age, moved out of home and went nursing, got married, and moved back to the same area where I'd grown up. Not bad, eh!)
