A Welcome

Her wrist is no thicker than the base of my thumb. She weighs about the same as two bags of rice (the one kilo size not the five kilo bags). People in different parts of the world have been praying for her. So far only two out of her seven uncles have held her, only one auntie (and not an "official" auntie until April next year but besotted all the same) out of four has had that privilege, her cousins on her father's side have only viewed her briefly, while those family members on her mother's side (apart from a wonderful Nana who looked after The Most Adorable Granddaughter#4 and her Daddy while Mummy was in hospital) have had to be content with photos and phone updates.

But she is home.

I cared for The Most Adorable Granddaughter#4 while we waited for her Daddy to bring her Mummy and baby sister home from the hospital. We waited and waited ...

Finally they arrived! And what a wonderful surprise they had for The Most Adorable Granddaughter#4.

Time now to get out of the car seat.

Nana has a quick cuddle before going back to work.

Daddy with his two wee darling girls.

We have much to be thankful for.

(We tried to take a family photo but The Most Adorable Granddaughter#4 would only sit still when I gave her my cell phone and I didn't manage to get the photos on my camera. BTW, all photos are clickable.)

What precious pictures! I love the ones of her looking out the window waiting. A beautifully captured moment! And then the new baby... so tiny, so precious with her wonderful Nana, who is another great blessing from God. I enjoyed seeing this moment in time, and I have been blessed to share a part of your lives through prayer! Congratulations and welcome home little one!

The pictures are so, so, so lovely! Lovely beyond words, your granddaughters. Granddaughter #4 looked so anxious while waiting, and pretty much curious about her little sister. The latter looks so little, but I don't doubt she will grow quickly. I'm so happy that she is finally home, with her family :):):)
