Not only do I have extremely clever and creative daughters-in-law, but I also apparently have a couple of rising literary geniuses in the family (must be in the genes!). Last weekend it was We're going on a bear hunt while this weekend it was The hungry caterpillar. What child hasn't enjoyed a diet of at least one of these classic books?
The Most Adorable Granddaughter in the World#4 is no exception. And what better way to celebrate turning two than with a caterpillar cake and some of the people who love her most in the world!
I wonder what will be next?
Peter Rabbit is a possibility, or Babe, or even The Railway Children.
But I can't wait for the day someone decides to do a floury recreation of Sense and Sensibility or Jane Eyre!
