It's hard to believe a whole year has passed already. His name means light and I know he has brought light to his mummy and daddy's life. I also pray that he will be a light in the world, shining Jesus' love and truth into the lives of others as he grows.

Not every birthday boy develops an allergic reaction to [healthy] party food, but our charming wee man managed to do just that. Thankfully, after washing the affected areas, it calmed down and we could go on with the cutting of the cake ...
