I need a photo to send to my publisher. I was hoping that DH could take some photos yesterday - but we weren't able to borrow Son#1's camera. Our camera leaves a green line down the middle of every photo. I have enough flaws that I want to hide without having a green line down/across my face! But since we were in the mood for some photo taking, DH took some photos of my hair. I cried when I saw them. I had so hoped that my hair would look pretty - not all frizzy and uneven like it does here.
At least the photos give me an idea of how long my hair looks from the back (I rarely see it from this angle) and I don't think I look as fat as I sometimes think I am (see some good did come out of taking these photos after all) and my garden looks lovely and green and that skirt oh-so-pretty. But I can't promise that I'll not do what my friend Liliana did and take them down before the night is over.

AND: you are not fat or overweight or round or any of those things you've written! You appear to have a quite beautiful figure.
Oh how we are so critical of ourselves! I think you and your hair look just beautiful.
:o)
I tried to post a comment yesterday. The condensed version is: your hair is truly, truly beautiful.
Maybe my comment was too long to print. But I sort of think I pressed something wrong--my computer savviness is subpar. So I am commenting *again* to make sure you know how much I sincerely admire your hair. Still hope you got the first comment, though.

I guess I look at others' hair and mine is too dark/coarse/frizzy and not curly/blonde/lighter/straight (see I want everything I don't have and I can't even decide if I want curls or straight hair) and I'm not happy.
But I'm glad someone likes the skirt too! It's a favourite of mine and the best part was I bought it on sale.
So I dug down really deep to find some sincere, heartfelt sympathy for you Jules, cause you know how I feel about you, but check this, I came up empty handed! What you call frizz I call fullness and what you call uneven ends looks like the bottom of a U-ie curve to me. If I had those ends I wouldn't have even needed a trim. Sigh.
Well I'm so glad you left your pics up. I'd have been bummed if I missed them. I just got done looking through your entire hair category posts back to your very first one and you have such pretty hair.
I love your hair! You crazy grrrl.
I love your blog too. It has such a sweet spirit and is always so encouraging. I have nominated you for a blog award -- come on over and pick it up!

All I know is that even if my wife had *bad* layers cut, which yours are definitely not, not for one moment would I wish it shorter. Layers, even bad ones, do blend over time.
Yes, there are women out there who wear attractive short haircuts, but I guarantee you that many, many of their guys are looking at YOUR beautiful hair and wishing their own gals would GROW theirs! lol To guys, there really is no comparison. You have a beautiful site, and gorgeous hair. God Bless, Bob
