Spring is Sprung

Today is the first day of Spring for those of us blessed to live in the Southern Hemisphere. Winter is supposedly over and we can look forward to some sunshine and gorgeous weather.

Today it hailed.

I was at my music lesson and I'd left my shoes outside. When I came out they were filled with ice.

Yep, I drove home with wet cold feet. Well, what would you have done?

It is amazing, being our age, and there are still new experiences to be had, like ice in your shoes. Probably something we could live without but it makes life interesting.

Hello Jules,

Just a quick note to say that I hope your Spring is wonderful!! We are slipping into Fall here in Kansas. Yes it is early this year but I'm looking forward to it. Summer was very mild for us!

Hope you feet are warmer now!

Smiles!

In spite of the calender it does take a while for Spring to actually arrive.
