Titles are Not My Strong Point

I love to write and I love to blog but I'm hopeless when it comes to coming up with a catchy title. It takes me far longer to think of a title than it does to write a chapter-length blog post.

Seriously.

When it came to writing a title for this post I tossed up "The Prodigal has Returned" but DH is hardly a Prodigal; "DH is Back" but that's hardly exciting; "Things are Back to Normal" not exciting either and not exactly true; "No Title" but that makes it sound as if I can't think of anything to call this post which is the truth but do I want the whole world to know how inept I am at thinking up imaginative titles? And so I discarded them all and settled on the truth. Titles are not my strong point. Titles are not my strong point. Titles are not my strong point.

All that to say, well nothing really. Because when it all comes down to it, this post has nothing to do with titles. Not really. It's about DH returning and me being able to share some of the photos he took while overseas. Not all of them. I don't want it to be like those old slide shows of Saturday nights gone by when the father of the house would pull out all the baby slides and family slides from the last twenty years and frighten off prospective boyfriends and girlfriends.

So just a few photos and for anyone like me who has not travelled far, hopefully they'll enable you to enjoy a little slice of life in rural India.

Fascinating pictures! India is so . . . Different (for lack of a better word!)

You could have titled your post:

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words
or
World Traveler Comes Home
or . . .

Well, it is too late now, so I won't suggest any more titles! :)

I Love thinking of catchy titles! Some of mine are probably a bit corny -- that's why my kids say "Pass the butter" when I tell a joke! LOL!!

Actually, I was surprised by the title of your blog post, because I always think you do a great job of coming up with blog titles. YOur most CLEVER one ever (in my book) is the Bride And the Groom Wore White. Love that one!!!! VERY CLEVER!
