For a week, at least, DH and I are once again empty-nesters. With Son#2 and his family out of town, Son#4 away, and having had a short visit from Son#1 and his family yesterday, Sunday afternoon stretched in front of us with little to do.
DH took me out for lunch since he suddenly realised today when I reminded him that it was Son#5's birthday that my birthday is also coming up and he had nothing planned. After lunch I suggested a walk but since it was windy, the beach was out. In the end, we drove a short distance out of town and did a small part of a popular walk.
Just one more reason to enjoy living where we do.
